El Rayo Reposado Tequila

El Rayo translates to “the lightning”. The name is a hat suggestion to a story about lightning striking a Blue Weber agave plant and cooking it to develop the very first tequila. This spirit didnt get that very same treatment but rather is distilled in a 105-year-old copper still before spending seven months growing in ex-whiskey casks. The soft, warm spirit has notes of cinnamon and honeyed vanilla and is a best summertime sipper with tonic and a grapefruit garnish.
