DeGrom halts throwing due to forearm tightness

New york city Mets ace Jacob deGrom is sidelined with best forearm tightness and will miss his scheduled start Monday at the Cincinnati Reds, supervisor Luis Rojas said Saturday.
DeGrom felt pain Friday while tossing a bullpen session at Pittsburgh, according to Rojas. An MRI hours later showed there was lower arm tightness but no structural damage. When deGrom may pitch once again, the right-hander hasnt yet been slotted back into the rotation and there is no projection on. He is thought about day-to-day.
